In the "old" day we never talked about innovation projects. We talked about improvements and change. We hoped some might be innovation. The OECD seems to have ignored 50 years of work on improvement as it is now one variation of innovation. I argue .... no. Improvement is vital and uses different tools and philosophies versus innovation. The logic here is flawed.... innovation projects lead to opportunities of improvement. Improvement projects led to improvements.
