    The basis of trust should be based on the usage of Open-Source and Standard Protocols and Schemes. In fact, I personally think we should not give room to ambiguity to prevent interoperability issues from the past.

    e.f. SWIFT, IBAN, ACH, SEPA, VISA, Mastercad and every other local-internal payment rail. These are all now being made standard with ISO20022. We should not only interoperate with the financial rail, but follow them as they have already been thru our user cases here.
