This includes designing and implementing systems that are energy-efficient, promoting the use of renewable energy sources, and minimizing the carbon footprint of digital identity solutions. Additionally, ongoing investment and maintenance should be considered to ensure the longevity and sustainability of the digital identity system, which includes taking into account the costs associated with updates, upgrades, and regular maintenance;
